Hi Brian,

Thank you for this article. As I have been home schooling my 9 yr old son I have noticed he has the makings of ADD. My 14 yr old daughter has ADHD so I know the signs. I plan on going to the doctors and find out. My daughter is totally different learning then my son, so I need to learn what to do with him now. Thank you so very much!

Thank You. I have been considering homeschooling my son for this reason. He doesn't fit the classroom model well. He is constantly in trouble for relatively benign things - speaking out, moving around the room, talking in the hall, not finishing self directed work, but never does anything "bad" like name calling or bullying or disrespecting the teacher. Sounds like these tips in a homeschooling setting may be an option for me.
