Here we are again at the beginning of another school year. OK, so we’re actually already in the thick of it here in the Northern hemisphere. To say we’ve had a busy summer would be a gross understatement. Where’d it go? Whew!
Hopefully, you’ve long since jumped into teaching/learning mode, and have settled into your home schooling routine without too many problems. Of course, the nice thing about homeschooling is there IS no set routine–you can make mid-voyage adjustments as needed and keep the HMS Homeschool ship on course.
We’d like to share with you some links we think you’ll find helpful as you guide your children. Here goes nuttin’:

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackHello. My name is Edgar and I’m an editor at OpposingViews.com, the debate website. Since we both cover homeschooling and education issues, I thought I’d drop you a note. I would’ve e-mailed you but I couldn’t find an address.
See, we’re currently having a discussion about whether or not homeschooled kids are at a disadvantage. You can see it here:

Although vetted experts are the ones doing the debating, anyone can contribute by choosing a side and posting comments about the experts’ arguments.
Check it out and, if you have the time, send me your thoughts via e-mail.
Thanks!
You said you wanted to know more websites, so I thought I would throw in mine:
yourtutoronline.com
Its still new, but always looking for new ideas. There are about a dozen mathematics video lessons up.
I am also taking requests for future lessons. Thanks for checking it out.
Good luck to all in the 2008-2009 school year!
We’re slowly getting started with a new blog for gifted homeschooling / unschooling:
